The OAS Department of International Law, with the support of EUROsociAL, the Transparency and Access to Information Network (RTA) and the Paraguayan Ministry of Justice, is organizing the Third Workshop for experts from the region to contribute to the process of preparing a modernized version of the Inter-American Model Law on Access to Public Information approved by the General Assembly of the OAS in 2010, which has served as the basis for creating, implementing or modernizing the relevant laws in the Member States.
This activity, held within the framework of the XVI Meeting of the RTA, will have the participation of experts and officials of the guarantor bodies of the region.
