On December 21, 2020, Ecuador
informed the depository on the designation of
the
Secretaría General de la Presidencia as the central authority for
the Inter-American Convention Against Corruption.
On December 11, 2020, the Ukraine deposited the
instrument of accession to the Convention on Serving
criminal sentences abroad at the OAS headquarters, in
Washington, D.C. United States. At the occasion the
Government of Ukraine reported on the designation of the
"Minister of Justice of Ukraine" as the central authority
for the purpose of the Convention.
On October 23, 2020, Brazil
informed the depository on the designation of the
Autoridade Central Administrativa Federal as the new
authority for the Inter-American Convention on the
International Return of Children of 1989.
On July 24, 2020,the Bolivarian
Republic of Venezuela deposited the
instrument of ratification of the Additional Protocol to
the American Convention on human rights in the area of
economic, social, and cultural rights, "Protocol of San
Salvador, in Washington, D.C. United States.
On March 10, 2020, the General Secretariat
of the Organization of American States received
note verbal N.019/20 from the Republic of
Uruguay by which said country delivered the
notification withdrawing its denunciation to the
Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (Rio Treaty).
