Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Welcome to the web page of the XLV Course on International Law organized by the Inter-American Juridical Committee and the Department of International Law of the Secretariat for Legal Affairs (SLA) of the OAS.
The Course aims to disseminate and promote international law, with a strong focus on the Inter-American System and its current agenda.
Dates: August 6-24, 2018.
Place: Hotel Pestana Rio, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

provided).
Certification: A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to those students who attend at least 90% of the classes and pass two exams held over the three weeks of the Course.
A Pass Certificate may be issued for students who submit a paper on one of the topics discussed during the Course, within three months of the end thereof, after first submitting a hypothesis and work plan for approval as provided in the guidelines that will be distributed in a timely manner.
Participant profile: The Course on International Law is aimed at professionals with a university degree in law or international relations, which have performed relevant work in those fields and have a strong desire to experience a demanding and rigorous academic program with their peers in a multicultural environment.
Applications will be considered solely on merit, without distinction or discrimination on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender expression, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, religion, physical traits, disability or any other such reason.
In order to ensure the best possible learning experience for our students, we prefer to limit the number of admissions to 40 students.

Professors and topics: We are in the process of completing the roster of prestigious professors from the Americas and Europe who will be lecturing during the three-week session. The
program will include a variety of cutting-edge topics of international law and will be enhanced with new topics and lecturers in the upcoming weeks.
Admitted Students: All admitted applicants will receive an e-mail from the Department of International Law in which they will be given a user name and password to access the students-only page, which will include class name and schedules, logistical matters, student contact information, recommended hotels and preferred rates, among others.
