31st MODEL OAS GENERAL ASSEMBLY FOR UNIVERSITIES OF THE HEMISPHERE (WITH EMPHASIS IN THE CARIBBEAN)

(Trinidad and Tobago)
The 31st MOAS will be organized together with the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago. This model will be operated entirely in English.
 

30th MOAS FOR UNIVERSITIES OF THE HEMISPHERE (30th MOAS)
May 16-19, 2012
(Cochabamba, Bolivia)
This 30th MOAS is organized by the Department of International Affairs, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia and Universidad Privada del Valle from Cochabamba. This Model will take place prior to the OAS General Assembly to be held also in Cochabamba, in June 3-5, 2012. This MOAS has the purpose of familiarizing the youth of the Hemisphere, as well as the people of Bolivia, with the priorities of the Inter-American Agenda.

SECOND DOMINICAN MODEL OF THE INTER-AMERICAN SYSTEM (MODOSI)

The Department of International Affairs of the OAS (DIA/SER) supported the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (ANU-RD), the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), and the Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) in the organization of the Second Dominican Conference Model of the Inter-American System (MODOSI)for university and high school students of the Dominican Republic.

NATIONAL MOAS FOR COLOMBIAN HIGH SCHOOLS (UNIVERSIDAD DEL NORTE)
October 6-9, 2011
(Barranquilla, Colombia)
The Department of International Affairs of the OAS (DIA/SER) together with Universidad del Norte (UNINORTE) of Barranquilla, Colombia, organized the First National MOAS for High School Students in Colombia, with the participation of 30 high schools and 5 universities from throughout Colombia.  This MOAS will be operated entirely in Spanish.

NATIONAL MOAS FOR CHILEAN HIGH SCHOOLS (UNIVERSITY OF CHILE)
August 17-19, 2011

The Department of International Affairs of the OAS (DIA/SER) is supporting the Institute of Public Affairs at Universidad de Chile in the organization of the First National MOAS for High School Students in Chile, with the participation of 30 public and private schools from Santiago and regions from throughout Chile. This MOAS will be operated entirely in Spanish.

29th MODEL OAS GENERAL ASSEMBLY FOR UNIVERSITIES OF THE HEMISPHERE

The 29th MOAS took place in San Salvador, El Salvador, and was organized by the Department of International Affairs of the OAS, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, The Secretariat for Social Inclusion of El Salvador, Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (UCA) and Universidad de El Salvador (UES). This MOAS was conducted in Spanish.
