Tenth Meeting of the Authorities and the Executive Committee of the Inter-American Committee on Education
The X Meeting of Authorities and Executive Committee of the CIE will be held on February 26 and 27, 2009 in the Guerrero Room, of the Main Building of the Organization of American States located at 17th Street and Constitution Avenue in Washington D.C.
The topics of discussion during this meeting include:
- Review of the outcomes of the IV Regular Meeting of the CIE, held October 14 - 15, 2008 in Quito, Ecuador.
- Review of the CIE Work Plan for 2009, including reports on completed or ongoing projects and decisions on future elements of the Work Plan
- Consideration of partial funding for the continuation of CIE Projects, PRIE and Early Childhood Education
- Preparatory process for the VI Inter-American Meeting of Ministers of Education, to be held on August 12-14, 2009 in Ecuador, including theme, anticipated results, and schedule of preparatory process.
