On September 1, 2005,
during the first meeting of the Joint Working Group of the Social Charter of the
Americas, it was decided to give until October 19, 2005 to Member States to
submit their inputs for the elaboration of the Social Charter. The Secretariat
received eight documents presented by different countries or group of countries.
Also, based on theses inputs, the General Secretariat prepared a
Working
document for the discussion of the Working Group.
