Educational Portal of the Americas

The Educational Portal of the Americas of the Organization of American States (OAS) is a tool that promotes equity in education and builds local capacity in the Americas and the Caribbean through the use of ICTs. The Portal works with a range of partners to develop training programs that are accessible to all participants, especially those affected by geographic or socio-economic barriers. Areas of the OAS such as the Department of Electoral Cooperation and Observation (DECO), the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) as well as organizations such as the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and FLACSO-Chile work with the EPA’s team of pedagogical experts to develop powerful and effective virtual courses and knowledge transfer platforms designed to achieve critical learning objectives.
