Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. OAS Announces Winners of “Images of Democracy” Photo Contest

The jury of the “Images of Democracy” photo contest, which was organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Organization of American States (OAS) observing elections in the hemisphere, selected winning photographs in the two categories mentioned below.
These were the selections of the jury:
Observers Category: Open exclusively to those who have been observers on an OAS Electoral Observation Mission (EOM).
First Prize: Margarita Pérez de Rada Second Prize: Vito Robbiani Third Prize: Vanessa Espínola Coutinho Honorable Mentions: Francis Gagnon, Gabriel Tamalet, and Hugo Passarello Luna
General Public Category: Open to the public.

The members of the jury for the contest were: Andrés Navia, Coordinator of the Art Museum of the Americas; Dr. Betilde Muñoz-Pogossian, Director of the OAS Department of Electoral Cooperation and Observation; Claudia Palacios, CNN en Español journalist; Indira Williams Babic, Manager of Visual Resources at Newseum; and Patricia Esquenazi, Director of the OAS Press and Communications Department.
The prize for the winners will be the exhibition of their photographs for 10 days at the Art Museum of the Americas. The winner of the Observers Category will be invited to the opening ceremony of the exhibition on November 1.
Since 1962, the OAS has observed 191 electoral processes in 27 of its 34 Member States. The Electoral Observation Missions are one of the most important instruments which the organization has at its command for the promotion and consolidation of democracy in the hemisphere.
