Secretary General Insulza States OAS Support to President of Ecuador

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, had a telephone conversation today with the President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, in which he stated the "full support" of the Organization in the aftermath of the events in his country.

Secretary General Insulza also told President Correa about the special session of the Organization's Permanent Council that is being held to address the situation in Ecuador.
