Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS to Send Team of Experts to Honduras for Primary Elections

The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS) will send a technical team of five experts to the primary elections to be held in the Republic of Honduras next Sunday, March 12.
Despite an exhaustive campaign to raise resources, the necessary funds were not obtained in order to deploy an Electoral Observation Mission, as was requested by Honduras, under the standards established in the Inter-American Democratic Charter and its internal regulations.
During their stay in the country, specialists will gather information on the primary elections, which will serve as input for the Electoral Observation Mission that the OAS will deploy to the general elections scheduled for November.
