UPDATE: CORRECTS DATES FROM NOV. 19 TO 21: Inauguration of the 64th Session of CICAD at the OAS

The Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) of the Organization of American States (OAS) will open its 64th session to discuss the main drug challenges facing the countries of the region on Monday, November 19, at 9:15, at the headquarters of the hemispheric institution in Washington, DC.

The Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro, will inaugurate the session, which will take place from November 19 to 21, along with the Coordinator of International Affairs of the Office of the Attorney General of Mexico and Chair of CICAD, Guillermo Fonseca; the Executive Secretary of CICAD, Adam Namm; and the head of the Secretariat for Multidimensional Security of the OAS, Farah Urrutia.

The opening of the event will be broadcast live on the OAS Website.
