OAS Permanent Council to Consider the Human Rights Situation in Venezuela

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, July 17 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) in Simon Bolívar Hall at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC, to consider the Human Rights Situation in Venezuela, among other topics.

Participants in the meeting will include:
• Tamara Suju, Executive Director of Casla Institute
• Commissioner Esmeralda Troitiño, President of the IACHR
• Valentina Ballesta, Amnesty International (to participate virtually)
• Tamara Taraciuk Broner, Human Rights Watch (to participate virtually)
