Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General to Participate in Hemispheric Ministerial Meeting on Social Development in Asunción

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, will take part in the Third Meeting of Minister and High Authorities of Social Development, which will take place on July 13 and 14 in Asunción, Paraguay.
The central theme of the event is “Overcoming inequalities for more inclusive societies.”
Almagro will open the event together with the President of Paraguay, Horacio Cartes, and the Minister of Social Action, Héctor Cárdenas. Almagro will also meet with the main authorities in the Paraguayan government.
In the framework of the meeting, the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) of the OAS and UN-Women will hold an event on “gender equality, social inclusion and care: in search of a balance,” on Thursday, July 14.
