Permanent Council to Discuss Linkages between Human Rights and the Environment and Receives Presentation on Prometea Artificial Intelligence System

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold two meetings on Wednesday, August 22, in Simon Bolivar Hall at OAS headquarters in Washington DC.

At 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT), the Council will hold a special meeting to discuss “the Linkages between Human Rights and the Environment: the Experience of the Escazu Agreement.”

At 14:30 EDT (18:30 GMT) the Council will hold a regular meeting during which it will hear a presentation on the Prometea artificial intelligence system, among other topics.
