Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. Honduras: MACCIH Announces Press Conference – April 19 – 11am

The Mission to Support the Fight against Corruption and Impunity in Honduras (MACCIH) of the Organization of American States (OAS), currently being installed in the country, will offer a news conference on Tuesday, April 19 for national and international press.
The MACCIH is headed by the Special Representative of the Secretary General and Spokesman of the Mission, Juan Jiménez Mayor, who is currently in the Honduran capital accompanied by the following experts:
• Jacobo Domínguez, Coordinator of the Politico-Electoral Division
• Jan-Michael Simon, Special Advisor against Corruption and Impunity
• Katalina Montaña, Chief of the Institutional Strengthening Section in Mediation and Dialogue of the OAS
The press conference will take place at 11:00 local time (17:00 GMT) at the Hotel Clarion in the Honduran capital, and will feature the participation of the Spokesman.
The event will be moderated by Sergio Jellinek, Communications Advisor to the OAS General Secretariat.
The MACCIH aims to improve the quality of the services provided by the justice system of Honduras in the prevention and combating of corruption and impunity in the country, through active collaboration, consulting, supervision and certification of the state institutions in charge of the prevention, investigation and punishment of acts of corruption.
