Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Ministers of Science and Technology Convened by the OAS to Address Issues of Inclusive Innovation in the Region

"Inclusive Innovation: Key to Reducing Inequality and Increasing Productivity in the Region" will be the focus of the Fourth Meeting of Ministers and High Authorities of Science and Technology, to be held on March 10 and 11 in Guatemala City, and in which authorities will seek to agree on a hemispheric cooperation agenda under the Action Plan of Guatemala 2016-2020.
The meeting will present successful practices of inclusive innovation; promote an exchange of ideas regarding the impact of inclusive innovation in entrepreneurship; and open a dialogue for participants to identify opportunities for collaboration in this area. In addition, the meeting will develop recommendations to the Heads of State and Government for the upcoming Seventh Summit of the Americas, to be held in Panama City in April 2015 with the slogan "Prosperity with Equity: The Challenge of Cooperation in the Americas."
The ministerial meeting will explore different aspects of the Plan of Action of Guatemala 2016-2020 on topics such as strengthening the participation and leadership of women in science, technology, engineering and innovation; collaboration with the private sector; and the opportunities for cooperation between governments, academia and other strategic partners.
The inaugural session of the Fourth Ministerial Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10 at 9:00 local time (14:00 GMT) and will feature the participation of the Vice President of Guatemala, Roxana Baldetti Elias; the National Secretary for Science and Technology of Guatemala, Armando Pokus; and the Assistant Secretary General of the OAS, Albert Ramdin. Among the participants who have already confirmed their presence are the Ministers and High Authorities of Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Dominica, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and the United States.
