Actor Danny Glover will Make a Presentation to the Permanent Council on Reparations for Slavery and the Genocide of Native Peoples

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting on, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 14:30 EDT (18:30 GMT) in Simon Bolivar Room at the headquarters of the Organization in Washington, DC, to receive a presentation on the topic “Reparations for Slavery and the Genocide of Native Peoples,” by actor Danny Glover, Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), among other topics.
