CANADIAN FOREIGN MINISTER TO VISIT OAS

  February 28, 2007

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Peter Gordon MacKay, will address the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) on Friday, March 2, during a special session convened in his honor.

The Assistant Secretary General of the OAS, Albert Ramdin, and the Vice Chair of the Permanent Council, Ambassador Izben Williams of Saint Kitts and Nevis, will also speak at the session that will be Webcast live (www.oas.org).
