President Evo Morales and Secretary General Insulza Meet Prior to Inauguration of Forty-second Regular Session of General Assembly

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, and the President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, met today prior to the inauguration of the forty-second regular session of the General Assembly of the hemispheric organization, taking place in Cochabamba through Tuesday.

President Morales and Secretary General Insulza discussed the central theme of the OAS Assembly session, “Food Security with Sovereignty,” also touching on the most important topics of the OAS summit in Cochabamba.

Also participating in the meeting were the Bolivian Vice President, Álvaro García Linera, and Insulza’s Chief of Staff, Hugo de Zela.
