Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS and Council of Europe Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Cooperation

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Council of Europe today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at establishing closer ties between the Organizations in key topics affecting citizens of both regions.
The General Secretaries of the OAS and the Council of Europe, José Miguel Insulza and Thorbjørn Jagland, respectively, signed the agreement during a meeting held within the framework of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The MOU includes strengthening cooperation on issues such as Human Rights, electoral matters, protecting women's rights, strengthening democratic institutions and fighting cyber-crime.
