The Secretary Generalof the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, met today with representatives of the member countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA) in the context of the forty-first regular session of the OAS General Assembly. The topic was the security strategyin Central America.
At the meeting, held at the International Fair and Convention Center (CIFCO) in San Salvador, the head of the hemispheric organization recognized ongoing efforts, under SICA leadership, to firm up a strategyof cooperationand joint endeavors for public security in this regionof the Hemisphere.
