Universities from United States and Mexico will Promote with the OAS Training Programs on International Law

Notre Dame University, Chicago-Kent College of Law, the Autonomous University of Mexico and the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Guadalajara, today signed a cooperation agreement with the Organization of American States (OAS) to develop academic training programs and joint activities on international law.

Authorities of the institutions of Mexico and the United States met today at the headquarters of the OAS in Washington DC to sign the agreement and reaffirmed their commitment to the high level academic training that promotes the integration and the recognition of legal systems. The Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro, recognized the initiative, which seeks to expand the horizons of knowledge on international law.
