OAS Secretary General Delivers Distinguished Lecture at the University of the West Indies

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insula, today delivered the distinguished lecture at the University of the West Indies, in Trinidad and Tobago, in the context of the VIII Americas Competitiveness Forum, which takes place in Port of Spain this week.

Before delivering his address, focused on the achievements and challenges facing Latin America and the Caribbean, the OAS leader met with the Principal of the University of the West Indies, Saint Augustine Campus, Clement Sankat.

The VIII Americas Competitiveness Forum takes place in Port of Spain from October 8 to 10, with the central theme “The Human Imagination at Work: Driving Competitiveness, Powering Innovation.”
