Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General met with the UNDP Director for Latin America and the Caribbean

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today met with Jessica Faieta, Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the UN body that promotes the improvement of the living conditions of citizens by providing knowledge and promoting the exchange of experiences and necessary resources.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed the preparations for the upcoming Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in December in Veracruz, Mexico.
Secretary General Insulza and Regional Director Faieta agreed on their interest to ensure the joint efforts of various multinational agencies involved in development issues, such as the OAS and the UNDP, to work in partnership with the ministries of social development of different countries.
