OAS Leader Meets with Ibero-American Secretary General

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today met with the head of the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), Rebeca Grynspan, in his office at the headquarters of the Organization in Washington, DC.

Both secretary generals discussed details on the upcoming Ibero-American Summit to be held December 8 and 9 in Veracruz, Mexico.

The Ibero-American Secretary General, who recently assumed her duties, expressed to the OAS leader her interest in focusing her work on promoting higher academic mobility with the aim of expanding the educational, cultural and professional horizons for the citizens of the region in order to enhance the promotion of Latin American identity.
