OAS Secretary General Visited Honduran Judicial Facilitators in the Field

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, visited a group of officials and participants in the Inter-American Program of Judicial Facilitators of the OAS in the Honduran town of Talanga, within the framework of his official visit to the Central American country, which included his participation on Monday in the First National Meeting of Judicial Facilitators of Honduras.

During the meeting, the facilitators shared with Secretary General Insulza their experiences and the impact of their work in their respective communities, emphasized the importance of the program and expressed their gratitude for the support offered by the OAS General Secretariat.

For his part, Secretary General Insulza praised the richness of the experiences shared and thanked the judicial facilitators and authorities present for their commitment and dedication. The event was attended by the Permanent Representative of Honduras to the OAS, Ambassador Leonidas Rosa Bautista; the Director of the Judicial Facilitators Program, Pedro Vuscovic; the Program Director in Honduras, Imelda Amador; and the OAS Representative in Honduras, Claudia Barrientos.
