Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Meets with the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs of the United Nations

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today held a working meeting with the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs of the United Nations, Óscar Fernández-Taranco, in New York, in parallel with the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, the two discussed the activities carried out by both organizations to promote democracy between their member states. In addition, they spoke about the global political climate, with particular attention to the most recent events in the Western Hemisphere.
