Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Signs Agreement with International Organisation of La Francophonie to Strengthen Democracy

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today signed a cooperation agreement with the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OFI) on strengthening democracy, electoral observation and the exchange of best practices.
Hugo Sada, Secretary and Delegate for Peace, Democracy and Human Rights of the OFI, and Filippe Savadogo, OFI Permanent Representative to the United Nations, signed the cooperation agreement with the OAS Secretary General.
The document was signed within the framework of the 67th United Nations General Assembly, taking place in New York.
