Seed Grants are financial awards to institutions that help them prototype or implement new or modified solutions to problems of policy or practice in STEM teacher education.

Teacher Leadership funds are small financial awards to teachers that help them to carry-out projects to support STEM teachers in the region.

Institutions with promising solutions to their problems of policy or practice are encouraged to apply for a Seed Grant. Seed Grant funds may be used in a variety of ways. For example, a grant might provide participant support to host a workshop, hire a temporary external consultant to collect research data, or create and distribute a multimedia product. Awards may be made up to $10,000 USD.

Teacher Fellows and other educators involved in Project Teams who teach STEM to children or future STEM teachers may apply for small grants for personal leadership projects to support on STEM teachers or systems that impact STEM teacher education. Awards may be made up to $1,000 USD.
