Workshops on Number portability and Telecommunication International Regulations

As was previously announced the Workshops on Number portability and Telecommunication International Regulations will be held on September 20 and 21, 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm and 9:00 am to 12:30 pm respectively.  In particular, we would like to point out that the Workshop on Telecommunication International Regulations has changed its time. Taking into account the interest of these Workshops, it was decided to do their webcasting. 1.    Review and analysis of the ITR by subject matter experts.

1.1. Context and Scope. Expose the object of the ITR, as well as the matters that they regulate, specifically the international telecommunications services.

1.2. Legal Status. Describe the legal nature of the ITR (obligatory, reference or volunteer application).

1.3. Entities subject to the application of ITR. Describe entities subject to the application of ITR, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of its application.

Analysis of today’s environment regarding international telecommunications services, as well as the evolution and tendencies of such services.
