About the Permanent Executive Committee of CIDI (CEPCIDI)

The Permanent Executive Committee (CEPCIDI) is the permanent executive body of CIDI and functions at the same headquarters as the Permanent Council and the General Secretariat. Its purpose is to adopt decisions and make recommendations for the planning, programming, budgeting, management control, follow-up and evaluation of cooperation projects and activities executed in the CIDI area.

CEPCIDI is composed of the principal and alternate representatives designated by each state. It has a Chairman and Vice Chairman who are elected annually by CIDI. CEPCIDI holds regular or special meetings in accordance with its Rules of Procedure.

CEPCIDI has Subcommittees on Program, Budget and Evaluation and on Partnership for Development Policies, both of which are of a permanent nature.
