LOS ESTADOS MIEMBROS DE LA OEA ORGANIZARON EN Guatemala la III Reunión de Autoridades Nacionales en Materia de Trata de Personas con el objetivo de conocer los avances de los Estados Miembros en prevenir, combatir y penalizar el delito de la Trata de Personas. En la opinión del Secretario General Adjunto de la OEA, Albert Ramdin: “en los últimos diez años, los países y los ciudadanos de las Américas han sido testigos de avances tangibles en las actividades para erradicar la trata de personas."

THE MEMBER STATES OF THE OAS organized in Guatemala the 3rd Meeting of National Authorities on matters of Human Trafficking  with the objective of discussing the progress being made by the member States in preventing, combating and penalizing the crime of human trafficking. According to Assistant Secretary General of the OAS, Albert Ramdin: “during the last ten years, the countries and the citizens of the Americas have witnessed concrete developments in the efforts to eradicate human trafficking.”
