THE MEMBER STATES OF THE OAS organized in Guatemala the 3rd Meeting of National Authorities on matters of Human Trafficking with the objective of discussing the progress being made by the member States in preventing, combating and penalizing the crime of human trafficking. According to Assistant Secretary General of the OAS, Albert Ramdin: “during the last ten years, the countries and the citizens of the Americas have witnessed concrete developments in the efforts to eradicate human trafficking.”
