01. Intentional Homicide (ICCS 0101) (criminal system)
1.4.1.1a Victims of intentional homicide related to organized criminal groups or gangs (Males)
Total number of Male victims of Intentional Homicide related to organized criminal groups or gangs.
"Organized Criminal Group" or "Gang" means the victim or perpetrator was a member of an Organized criminal group or Gang, or the homicide occurs in a fashion related to organized criminal groups/gangs.
"ORGANIZED CRIMINAL GROUP" shall mean a "structured group of three or more persons, existing for a period of time and acting in concert with the aim of committing one or more serious crimes or offences established in accordance with this Convention, in order to obtain, directly or indirectly, financial or other material benefit".
"STRUCTURED GROUP" shall mean a "group that is not randomly formed for the immediate commission of an offence and that does not need to have formally defined roles for its members, continuity of its membership or a developed structure".
"GANG" means a group or association of three or more persons that is defined by a set of characteristics including durability over time, street-oriented lifestyle, youth fullness of members, involvement in illegal activities and group identity. Definitions used by national law enforcement bodies may include some additional elements and may in some cases deviate from this generic definition.
