"POLICE PERSONNEL (FEMALES)" mean Female personnel in public agencies as at December 31 whose principal functions are prevention, detection and investigation of crime and apprehension of alleged offenders. Data concerning Female support staff (secretaries, clerks, etc.) should be excluded.
