01. Intentional Homicide (ICCS 0101) (criminal system)
1.2.1a.x Victims of intentional homicide (Males, rate)
RATE of Male victims of intentional homicide, at the national level.
RATES are calculated per 100,000 males, by dividing the number of reported intentional homicide crimes where the victims were males, by the total male population; the result is then multiplied by 100,000. Some countries with less than 100,000 males have their rates presented for comparison purpose.
Source for Male population data: 2017 Revision of World Population Prospects. United Nations, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Population Division. Webs: http://www.un.org/en/development/desa/population/; https://esa.un.org/unpd/wpp/
Data of victims of intentional homicide (Males) are provided by Member States through the United Nations Survey of Crime Trends and Operations of Criminal Justice Systems (UN-CTS).
