Adriana Jáuregui works in the Department of Sustainable Development (DSD) on matters related to international
environmental law, policy and good governance, with emphasis on sustainable development, climate change and human rights.
She was part of the Organization of the American States' delegation for the United Nations Climate Change Conference
held in Copenhagen, Denmark in December 2009.
Adriana holds a Law Degree from Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB) in La Paz, Bolivia; a Legal English Certificate from
the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, DC. and was awarded a scholarship for the 2009 Summer
Session on Environmental Law at the Washington College of Law.
Prior to joining the DSD, Ms. Jáuregui was an Associate Attorney at Estudio Jurídico Gerke Soc. Civ. in La Paz, Bolivia,
where she advised domestic companies and NGOs on civil law and civil procedure, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions
and taxation matters.
Adriana's native language is Spanish and she is fluent in French, English and Portuguese.
