Miss Márquez has a degree in Industrial Relations from
the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Venezuela and she is pursuing a
Master's degree in Social Economy and Management of Non-Profit Organisations
(MES) from Universidad de Barcelona, España.
Prior to coming to the OAS, Isis
worked as a Consultant in Deloitte, a private consulting firm in Caracas-
Venezuela focusing on strategic planning, human resources management and
social responsibility projects. In addition, she managed volunteer programs
in the private sector drug prevention program.
She joined the OAS in 2005 to
manage the logistic and others matters related to the preparatory process
for the First Inter-American Meeting of Ministers and High-Level Authorities
on Sustainable Development.
Currently, she works on issues
related to good governance and public participation and is in charge of the
Department’s website.
