More than 7 years of experience working on sustainable
development issues in Latin America. Ms M�rquez has been working in public
participation and social aspects of environmental governance, ensuring open
access to public information, supporting civil society participation and
accountable decision-making, and strengthening policy-making processes.
She
has also been part of the team in charge of the monitoring and evaluation of
the Environmental Cooperation Agenda of the CAFTA-DR.
In addition, vast
experience in projects relates to the implementation of environmental
commitments and sustainability in trade agreements, policy and project
interventions on trade and environment and participatory and community-based

Ms Isis M�rquez holds a Master�s
degree in Social Economy and Management of Non-Profit Organizations from
Universidad de Barcelona, Spain. She
is fluent in Spanish, English and has working knowledge of Portuguese.
