Search of collaboration and exchange through outreach activities with different groups

The group that is mostly participating in outreach activities is the network of National Coordinators.  Email contact, as well as questionnaires and telephone calls with some countries have been established. The opinion and criteria expressed by this means by the countries are guiding the process of strategic planning of the project.

A Steering Committee for the project has been also established. It is formed by a regional group of senior-level experts in environmental law and policy. A meeting was held back-to-back with the Caribbean Regional Workshop on Pesticide Stockpiles.

The sub-regional workshops held in the Caribbean and Central America have been a good opportunity to communicate and exchange with NGOs, the private and academic sectors and other members of the civil society. Their significant contribution to the discussions is greatly appreciated, and reflected in the Workshop Reports.
