Indigenous Peoples Participation

La Paz, Bolivia - September 12, 2006

On Tuesday, September 12th, the OAS’ Department of Sustainable Development and Bolivia’s Ministry of Planning hosted a roundtable with representatives of civil society and indigenous peoples. This roundtable was the second of a series of public consultation taken place throughout the hemisphere as part of the preparatory process for the First Inter-American Meeting of Ministers and High Level Authorities on Sustainable Development. The event was organized by the Department of Sustainable Development and Panama's Environmental Agency.
