The first of a series of regional consultations with civil society and indigenous peoples representatives was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Monday, August 28th. This consultation was organized by the Department of Sustainable Development and the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development of Argentina as part of the preparatory process for the First Inter American Meeting of Ministers and High Level Authorities on Sustainable Development
