1.    Summary

The project purpose is to compile and systematize the available information or in process of terrestrial ecosystems of Uruguay. First It'll be made an analysis on the different national classifications to identify those that can be implemented  to the system of classification GEOSS as a format of standard ecosystem adopted as the ETN. The information coming from those complete and relevant classification will be save in a web data base and will become available including digital maps and the information of support for it's interpretation. The work includes workshops of coordination and validation of elaborated information with the participation of net institutions.
