1.  Summary:

Until to 2007 Peru does not has a data base of species; being, the Peru considered between the five countries megadivers of the world. Thus, Peru occupies the third place in the world in mammals with 520 species, first in birds with 1,850 species, fourth in amphibians with 425 species and 7vo in reptiles with 383 species. One of the mechanisms for the conservation and protection of Peruvian biological diversity is to digitize the greater groups and important in a year, that they would correspond to 1584 species (50 % of the species of Amphibians, Reptiles, Birds and Mammals of Peru). The data base will be implemented with Plinian Core platform and visualized in the IABIN Web size with Darwin Core. When the country not has been any biodiversity component digitalized or catalogued, for a real visualization of national biodiversity, the resources are not in balance. But, if we know the real biological diversity we can decide the best management and conservation of  National Biodiversity.
