1. Summary |
The
project's proposal is to use and compile costal and marine environmental
pressure indicators with the standard descriptions of costal and marine
ecosystem classification . the spatial analysis will be done using a
geographical information system along with the program MARXAN (Ball and
Possingham, 2000). It hopes to obtain units with similar environmental,
biotic and pressure elements, which will permit the separately evaluation of
each analyzed environmental unit and costal system, to accomplish a better
environmental evaluation and to develop
scenes for the identified problems.
