1. Thematic Network: Invasive Species

2. Summary: The Project aimed to (i) fill gaps in the digitally available information on invasive species present in Jamaica, (ii) serve to train resource managers and other stakeholders in the use of online information databases using IABIN as the major tool. The IABIN I3N-Jamaica Project has given the island a strong foundation on which to build content with regards to invasive species information present in Jamaica. This information will compliment the Wildlife and Protected Areas Act, as well as, the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan for the island.
