Thematic Network: Invasive Species

1. Summary: In spite of the fact that the presence of exotic species has been recognized as a potential problem, in Chile there is a small database shaped by 115 species that needs to be completed. This project aims at strengthening and completing our national database having 1550 high quality records of exotic species with the additional object of giving accessibility and interoperability to the users and national and international institutions.

 

2. Period: 14 months (4 march 2008 - 4 may 2009)

3. Amount: US Dollars 10,000.00
