The Medicinal and
Aromatic Plant Collection (CPMA) was formed in 1989 by the
Agrotechnology Division of the Pluridisciplinary Centre for Chemical,
Biological and Agricultural Research (CPQBA) at the State University of
Campinas (UNICAMP). This collection has about 2070 assesses from 1100
species and it is appointed as an official genetic resources bank by the
Federal Brazilian Environment Ministry.
This project aims at
complementing the data bank, including the input of existing species in
the collection not yet included in the data bank, input of information
about all species obtained in specialized literature and photographs of
all species of the collection. |
