1. Summary |
The project seeks to apply
the Standard Format for Terrestrial Ecosystems to each class in the
classification system and develop metadata for three different
classifications in Bolivia. For the more accuracy classification, we fill
out the Standard Format for all classes in the Reference Classification
System to level 6 (equivalent to Ecological Systems of NatureServe). For the
two other general classifications under consideration, we fill out the
Standard Format to level 4 or less of GEOSS Reference System. Besides we
develop a comparative analysis and identify problems in filling out the
Standard Format. |
