Summary: |
The
objective of this request is to make an actualization of the Vascular
Plants that grow in the Argentinean Patagonia region and to generate an
Internet-accessible data at the species level. The taxonomic information
to digitize will include the following fields: Family, genera, species,
variety and/or form levels, synonymy, descriptions of each species in a
technical understanding language, distribution, distribution maps,
habitat, uses, drawings, references and the available photographs of the
taxa. The result will provide to the community an available
scientifically taxonomic database. The data generated will assist
strategies to be used in the decision making for conservation and
biological resources use. Once the database is established, it will be
updating by INTA Institution additional funding. |
