1.    Summary:

The main goal of this project is to reinforce an existing data base on vertebrates of special value within National Parks´ Biodiversity Information System (SIB-APN). We will load Northeast Argentina data of special value mammal species from specimens of museum collection and unpublished information from key informants. This seed fund will serve to accede, to georreferencing and to load data from these sources of information. They were not incorporated at the moment, so we will cover this deficit. The collections have only partial catalogues in digital sheets or paper cards. Also we will try to rescue with interviews and surveys the unpublished observations which are not compiled or available in other way. The availability of this information will be useful for species conservation and its habitat. It will be used for a PhD thesis related with mammal distribution modeling and its application in conservation.
