1.    Summary:

The proposed project will systematize and standardize the information about alien species available in National Parks Administration, Argentina, and incorporate it to I3N Database, adding references about invasiveness, impacts, invasion characteristics and management. A technical manger from the APN will be designated to share the administration of the national database with I3N national leader. The project will also identify possible data providers in APN to join them to the I3N System. The project will apply and evaluate the Risk Assessment Analysis Tool form I3N as a tool to prioritize Invasive Species Management actions and help decision making process in protected areas. The availability of these information and tools and the collaboration with IABIN and I3N will certainly improve biological invasions management and will contribute to achieve National Parks Administration goals.
